Devereux House, 80-82 St George’s Street (Grade II)
An early 16th Century house with a flint and brick ground floor, jettied and timber-framed upper storey and some mediaeval elements in a very poor state of repair, restored as a studio/workshop with a flat above. Subsequent tenants included a viol maker and a woodcarver. It was then let to a firm of architects and sold to them freehold in the late 1980s.
